He began his legal career as a judicial assistant at the Seventh Civil Circuit Court of Panama, gaining early exposure to judicial processes. He has also served as an assistant instructor in Evidence and General Practice at the University of Panama, contributing to the academic development of future legal professionals.
His practice has been recognized by leading international legal publications such as Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500, which highlight his strong litigation skills and his ability to respond effectively and efficiently to client needs.
Eduardo has managed administrative, judicial, and arbitral disputes related to major projects in Panama, representing project owners, contractors, and financial institutions involved in project financing. He is also part of the Alcogal team advising international law firms on Panamanian law in the context of large-scale projects that have led to commercial and investment arbitration proceedings.
He has litigated across all levels of civil and administrative proceedings in Panama, with particular expertise in extraordinary remedies before the Supreme Court of Justice and its different chambers. His arbitration experience includes both ad hoc and institutional proceedings under the rules of CECAP, CESCON, UNCITRAL, and the ICC.
