Arcelio Vega is an associate at Alcogal with a practice focused on litigation and arbitration. His professional career combines experience in the judiciary, academia, and private practice, providing him with a comprehensive perspective to anticipate challenges and design effective strategies in complex disputes.
He obtained his Law and Political Science degree from the University of Panama, where he also completed a specialization in Procedural Law. Throughout his career, he has maintained a strong connection to the administration of justice, gaining in-depth knowledge of judicial processes and decision-making.

Prior to joining Alcogal, Arcelio held key positions within Panama’s judicial system, including serving as Municipal Judge and Civil Circuit Judge. He also served for several years as an Alternate Magistrate at the First Superior Court, which has provided him with a deep understanding of judicial proceedings and appellate practice.

In addition to his professional practice, he has been actively involved in legal education and initiatives aimed at strengthening Panama’s legal framework. He is a member of professional associations that promote excellence in the legal profession.
