For the second consecutive year, Alcogal sponsored the annual STEP Latin-American Conference.
This year the conference was titled “Where Common Law and Civil Law Converge: The Cross Roads of The Future”, and took place from September 28th until September 30th, 2016 at the Hilton Hotel in Panama City, Panama. The conference was addressed to wealth-structuring and trust and estate practitioners.
The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) is a professional body that provides its members with a local, national and international learning and business network, which focuses on the responsible stewardship of assets in a sustainable way. STEP provides education, training, representation and networking opportunities for its members, so that they can become experienced and senior practitioners in the field of trusts and estates. Members, in turn, advise clients on the broad business of managing personal finances.
