Alcogal is proud to announce its role as expert counsel to Grupo Promerica in a groundbreaking transaction with Grupo Assa. This strategic collaboration integrates Grupo Assa’s Banco de Finanzas, S.A. (BDF) with Grupo Promerica’s Banco de la Producción, S.A. (BANPRO), forming Nueva Tenedora Banpro, S.A. (NTB).
BANPRO and BDF will continue to operate independently. Grupo Promerica will be the controlling shareholder of NTB, achieving an indirect majority acquisition of BDF’s shares through stock contributions from both groups.
