Carlos G. Cordero is a founding partner of the firm and has been a key figure in the development of Corporate and Financial Law in Panama.

In the public sector, he served as Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Panama between 1993 and 1994. He has also been a member of the National Council on Foreign Relations and Ambassador Plenipotentiary on Special Mission for the Defense of International Services.

He serves on the boards of directors of major companies, including Cable & Wireless Panamá and Elektra Noreste, S.A.

He is an active member of the National Bar Association of Panama and has been recognized as a leading lawyer by Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500, International Financial Law Review, and Who’s Who Legal.

In 2013, the National Bar Association awarded him the Ricardo J. Alfaro Medal in recognition of his outstanding professional career in both the private and public sectors, and in 2020, it awarded him the Jorge Illueca S. Medal in recognition of his international efforts in defense of the nation and for more than twenty-five years of professional practice.
