On May 16, Alcogal was distinguished by the prestigious legal publication International Financial Law Review (IFLR), as the “Most Innovative Law Firm for Capital Markets in Central America.”
It is the first time that the legal publication presents this award, which was granted based on the quality, complexity and structure of the transactions handled by the different firms across the region. IFLR looked at capital markets transactions and focused on the most innovative from a cross-border perspective, with influence not just within the borders of one country, but for issuers in other countries.
During the last year, Alcogal played a key role on some of the most legally innovative international capital markets transactions completed by Central American issuers. This distinction is the result of a thorough investigative process, which includes extensive reports submitted by law firms, as well as numerous interviews with clients and colleagues conducted by IFLR´s team of professional researchers.
