Alcogal participated as adviser to JP Morgan Securities LLC and Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated in connection with a US$550 million 144a/Reg S bond offering by Banco General S.A. The deal closed in August 2017. Partner Arturo Gerbaud, along with associates Rita de la Guardia and Rafael Marquínez, participated in this transaction.
